Movie Buffering (VLC Guide)

Fix movie and series buffering with VLC player.

Use External Player​

VOD content may buffer less with VLC player.

Install VLC​

  1. Open Downloader
  2. Search for VLC
  3. Install VLC for Android

Set VLC as Default Player​

  1. Open AIO TV
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select Player
  4. Select External Player
  5. Select VLC

VLC Settings​

For best performance:

  1. Open VLC
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Set network caching to 1000ms or higher
  4. Enable hardware acceleration

Test Playback​

  1. Open AIO TV
  2. Select a movie
  3. Play should open in VLC
  4. Adjust VLC settings if still buffering
